Another lovely walk, chatted to friends and family along the way

I'm working on week 3 challenge for hybrid workers. Logged 3 so far shame you can't swim in the challenge then I would be at 4 ! Enjoying seeing the lovely flowers in our city parks and trying out a new community cafe.

Went for a bycycle ride along the canal, lovely view of the water and wildlife

Just back from a trip to Cleethorpes got some good walks done!

Had a nice walk to the forest with my friend and Nina my dog, we stopped off at the homemade cafe for a cuppa, (and Neen's had biscuits!) lovely sunny day

I walk to the shops rather than driving a car.

I logged a 6 week streak for doing a leisure bike ride this weekend. Only 20 miles this time. But pleased with average speed of 10.2 mph because rather a lot of hills. With overall elevation 1099ft and one on it's own 408ft

Week three, lovely early morning dog walks this week. And a few more opportunities for a commute swap. Feeling good and enjoying being more active.

Popped to the shops on my bicycle today and cycled along the canal. Lots of fresh air and I feel so much better after getting the exercise and enjoying the natural environment.

Enjoyed taking my dog for a walk today to the forest, lovely sunshiny day.

nice and fresh this morning on walk

More walking is enjoyable on these light , bright mornings and reading on the train or bus is great too , more me time, less stress , sunlight and exercise

Week Two. Managed to get a fair few walks last week. No commuting, as I was on leave. But a walk is still a walk, and its all adding up to fresh air and a more active day.

Cycled into town on Saturday. I tend to avoid it but I headed in along the Nottingham and Beeston Canal and then popped out at the train station. I'm going to see if I can find a route to work that I feel safe on. I think I've been using town traffic as an excuse to leave the bike in the garage...

I'm using this work challenge to improve my cycling ability. On 2 May I did my second longest ride since using strava in the pandemic - 30miles. This weekend 9 May I did my 2nd fastest 40k.

I have better cardio thanks to walking

This week I did an 18 mile challenge walk with friends from the Local Access Forum, Walk Notts and Environment Agency to raise awareness of the River Leen!

The suns out every now and then so I think I may go for a stroll today!

I walked into Sherwood to buy plants rather than use the car. It was a lovey sunny day and I avoided traffic and needing to find a parking space.

I didn't realise I was this unfit.
